1. Introduction
Welcome to Booklexy, a booking appointment platform designed for small businesses that need to collect deposits in Naira. By using our platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
2. User Accounts
- To use Booklexy, you must create an account and provide accurate information.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
3. Booking & Payments
- Clients can book appointments with service providers and are required to make a retainer fee or deposit to confirm the booking.
- By default, upfront payments are non-refundable however you can choose to refund these at your discretion.
- Full payment may be required before or at the time of service, depending on the service provider’s policy.
- All payments are processed securely through Paystack. Booklexy does not store payment details.
4. Service Provider Responsibilities
- Service providers must honour booked appointments and provide the agreed services.
- Any disputes regarding service quality must be handled directly between the client and theservice provider.
5. Platform Limitations
- Booklexy acts as an intermediary between clients and service providers. We are not responsible for the quality, availability, or outcome of services booked through our platform.
- We may modify or discontinue any part of our service at any time without liability.
6. Limitation of Liability
- Booklexy is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our platform.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
1. Appointment Cancellations by Clients
• Clients may be charged a cancellation fee.
2. Appointment Cancellations by Service Providers
• If a service provider cancels an appointment, clients are entitled to a full refund or reschedule at no extra cost.
3. Refunds
- Deposits are non-refundable unless the service provider cancels the appointment.
- Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 5 business days via the original paymentmethod.
4. Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes regarding cancellations and refunds must be reported to Booklexy within 3 days of the scheduled appointment.
